A selection of photos taken by Press Photographer of the Year Gerry Mooney is going on display at Dublin Airport.

The INM photographer was honoured for his range of images from the past year depicting scenes from the Irish Ploughing Championship, the 1916 commemorations and the RDS Dublin Horse Show.

Gerry, originally from Killester in north Dublin, received the prestigious award from Arts Minister Heather Humphreys at the Press Photographer Association of Ireland (PPAI) awards earlier this year.

Gerry, whose work appears in the Irish Independent and INM titles, also finished top in categories for 'Politics, Arts & Entertainment', and came second in 'Daily Life & People'.

The exhibition at Terminal 1 is open to the public and runs until March 26.
