AVIVA will continue to pay €4m a year for the naming rights to the Lansdowne Road stadium,
Under a 10-year deal, the insurer pays an annual fee to have its name attached to the landmark home of Irish rugby.
But sources said there was no possibility that it would back out of the expensive Aviva Stadium deal in the wake of its massive jobs announcement because there was no get-out clause in the agreement.
It became one of the most high-profile insurance firms in the country after it outbid rivals and won the naming rights for an estimated €40m two years ago.
