Audrey's son Dean died following a stabbing incident in North Dublin in July 2013.
Mr Mahon yesterday wore cuff links with images of Amy and Dean.
"They are part of us," Mr Mahon said after the low-key ceremony in Swords. "We are thinking of them both today, as we always do. And we wish both of them were here today."
Audrey has said in the past she had originally planned for daughter Amy to be her bridesmaid, and for son Dean to give her away.
