Mr Jeffers, born in Australia and raised in Northern Ireland, has had his children's books translated into more than 30 languages while his latest offering 'The Day the Crayons Quit' reached number one on the 'New York Times' bestseller list.

The exhibit offers a range of Mr Jeffers' retrospective work. Curator Colin Graham told the Irish Independent that he chose Mr Jeffers's work because of his experience in both writing and graphics.

The exhibition is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm until March 12.
