MORE arrests are expected in the garda investigation into violent clashes involving protesters outside the Dail last September.
Five men and two teenagers – all linked to the recently formed Irish Republican Voice – arrested in swoops across Dublin yesterday were released without charge last night.
Investigating officers will now prepare files for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The seven, aged from 14 to 35 years, were questioned about alleged involvement in violent disorder around Molesworth Street on September 18 last.
The arrests stemmed from an incident when a small group broke away from the main body of demonstrators protesting over austerity and attempted to force their way through the garda crash barriers erected outside Leinster House.
