Aras run isn't for me, says Kenny

Pat Kenny has revealed he has no intention of ever putting himself forward as a candidate for the Presidency.

The broadcaster (64) – who threw his support behind Gay Byrne when he considered running – has ruled himself out of ever making a move into politics.

"I wouldn't feel worthy to be President of this nation of ours. It's for somebody in the political domain," he said, jokingly suggesting it might be a role for RTE colleague Miriam O'Callaghan.
