Appeal for witnesses of crash which resulted in man being airlifted to hospital to come forward

Gardaí in Wexford are appealing for witnesses of a car crash which resulted in a young man being airlifted to hospital.

The accident happened Wednesday, March 22 at around 4.50pm on the N30 near Corcoran's Cross.

The driver of the car, a man in his early 20s, was airlifted to Cork Regional Hospital with serious injuries and remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí are asking for anyone who may have travelled on the road between 4-5pm and seen a red Citroen Saxo to contact them at New Ross Garda Station 051 - 426030 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
