Aoife (29), dressed in a short leather jacket and Grecian style dress and sandals, was smiling and looked relaxed as she strolled alongside Gordon (32) to St Macartan's Cathedral in Monaghan town for the last rehearsal before they walk up the aisle today in front of a star-studded congregation.
Among the 250 guests enjoying the nuptials at the luxurious Castle Leslie, in Glaslough, will be many of the Leinster squad including Brian O'Driscoll and his wife, Amy Huberman, while others expected to attend include Leo Cullen, Ronan O'Gara, Rob Kearney, Denis Hickie and Shane Horgan.
"I'm not nervous I'm just looking forward to it. It is gorgeous out now, earlier it wasn't so great so we just have to play it by ear," Aoife told the Irish Independent.
Aoife, who is known for her skills as an artist, put a few creative touches to the ceremony.
"My sister Sinead is my bridesmaid and my two 'bridesmen' my brother (Niall) and my cousin (Dara), it is causing a bit of a scandal," she laughed.
"It is a total family affair everyone is really excited."
