Anyone got a toilet bag and spare pair of PJs?
Brian Cowen wasn't actually caught out by the unexpected half week in Belfast -- but his entourage was.
The Taoiseach is fortunate enough to have a staff who bring a change of clothes for him and a toilet bag wherever he goes, just in case he can't make it back home.
But his travelling party was not so fortunate. The Taoiseach's security garda had to be sent out to the chemists to get them some toiletries to freshen up on Tuesday morning.
Needless to say, Micheal Martin certainly wasn't found wanting either, as he wore fashionable fresh shirts each day. An aide suggested the Cork Saint even brought his pyjamas -- crisply ironed, no doubt.
