Anti-bullying group urges action
THE Government has been urged to move quickly to implement guidelines to tackle bullying and prevent teenage suicides.
National Anti-Bullying Coalition president Monica Monahan said: "The most frustrating and painful thing about all of these tragedies is that we have the solutions.
"We have been doggedly trying to bring those far-reaching solutions to fruition, but the distress is still continuing and resulting in the deaths by suicide of our young people.
"We are mindful that something is being done, but not in enough time to save lives and address the underlying issues."
