ANGLO Irish Bank yesterday angrily hit back at reports that it had been asked to give the Government further information on bonus payments after an initial submission by the bank was deemed "insufficient".
Anglo chairman Alan Dukes took to the airwaves to reject claims that Finance Minister Michael Noonan had ordered the bank to "fix" an "insufficient" bonus report.
Mr Dukes, whose comments were highlighted in a press release last night, insisted no discrepancies had been identified.
A Department of Finance spokesperson last night confirmed Anglo had submitted the document, and that there had been "no issues" with the information supplied.
