An interesting honour for Kenny at Menin Gate

The Taoiseach and British Prime Minister paid their respects to those who gave their lives in the First World War at several sites across Belgium today

But Enda Kenny got more than he bargained for when it came to the Menin Gate visitor's book, according to a tweet from RTE's Tony Connolly.

"Menen gate visitors book in Ypres almost gets it right," he tweeted, together with an amusing picture that sees Ireland's leader renamed as the honourable 'Edna'.

David Cameron and Enda Kenny are visiting First World War graves and memorials on the former Western Front today in the latest step towards deepening British-Irish relations.

Apart from the spelling slip-up in the beautiful visitor's book in Ypres, the tribute seems to have been a complete success.
