Airport almost at a standstill
KNOCK Airport remained at a virtual standstill yesterday as UK airspace restrictions continued.
All services into and out of Knock from British airports were cancelled. The only flight which operated was the daily domestic Aer Arann service to and from Dublin.
Knock Airport chief Joe Gilmore claimed it was losing up to €20,000 a day because of the cancellations.
"After the hard winter these are disruptions we could have done without,"he said.
