Aircraft carrying Spanish PM forced to make emergency landing at Dublin airport

An aircraft carrying Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy was forced to make an emergency landing at Dublin Airport this afternoon.
The Falcon 900 plane – part of the Spanish delegation attending the EPP congress - departed from the runway at 330pm.
According to a spokesperson for the DAA, there was an issue with the aircraft shortly after takeoff.
According to reports a warning light came on forcing the plane to make a u-turn.
The Madrid-bound plane returned and made an emergency landing at the airport at approximately 345pm.
The plane was checked and given the all-clear to return to Spain.
