The Irish Aviation Authority has made a bid to avert threatened strike action by air traffic controllers

A LEGAL bid by the Irish Aviation Authority to avert a threatened strike by air traffic controllers in Ireland has been struck out of the High Court and the matter has been referred to the Labour Relations Commission.

Mark Connaughtan, for the authority, told Mr Justice Gerard Hogan that the matter that had come before the court earlier this week had been resolved.
