Aer Lingus adds flights in strike battle

Aer Lingus bosses have announced they are adding 25 extra flights over the June bank holiday to minimise passenger disruption due to industrial action by cabin crew.

The flights will be operated by 'hire-in' crews on the day before and the day after the May 30 action to provide capacity for as many affected passengers as possible. Meanwhile, it has emerged that Aer Lingus travellers face the threat of even more strike action over the summer.
