Achtung! Kenny gets own jingle
IT's the monkey wrench of chanting tunes for Ireland fans, and can be adapted for most scenarios.
The most popular version, given the recent run of events, is: "Oh, Trapattoni, he used to be Italian but he's Irish now." However, "Oh, Stephen Ireland, he used to be Irish but he's English now", gets the occasional airing too.
And yet another version of the jingle emerged over the last few fateful days in Gdansk.
"Oh, Enda Kenny, he used to be Irish but he's German now!"
Achtung Taoiseach -- that's what happens when you snuggle too close to Angie Merkel.
