Another 60 drugs sold in head shops have been banned.
Junior Health Minister Roisin Shortall announced that a further range of "legal highs" are being reclassified as controlled drugs, making it a criminal offence to sell them.
Drugs on the new banned list include the cathinone substance, similar to meophedrone, which was banned last year. There are only 10 head shops still in operation.
