A 36 person Lotto syndicate has won Saturday night's €2million Lotto prize.
The win netted the 36 members €55k each.
Many of the 36 person group work for medical device production company, Vista Med, and they found out their happy news this morning.
A spokesperson for the group told the Irish Independent that “it’s a nice cushion to have”.
He said that the group of colleagues, from the medical device production company, contribute €2 each every week.
The man who takes care of the syndicate is from Belfast.
He purchased the ticket in Swanlinbar, Co Cavan, as he passed through on his journey home.
The five-year old syndicate is comprised of employees from the company’s two Leitrim plants, as well as employees who have left the company.
