THE TINIEST doll in the world found a new home yesterday, trading a castle for an estate.
The Museum of Childhood and Tara's Palace -- which exhibits a 300-year-old doll's house, a 100-year- old children's play shop, a house in a bottle and the tiniest doll in the world -- opened their new premises in Co Wicklow yesterday.
The museum was forced to move from its original residence in Malahide Castle when it was given notice to quit by Fingal County Council to make way for a new retail space.
It is now located on the Powerscourt Estate.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and noon to 5pm on Sunday.
Entry is €5 for an adult and €3 for a child.
