€160k worth of cannabis seized by Gardai during Kerry search

GARDAI have seized cannabis plants worth €160,000 following the search of a house at Gorthloughera, Kilgarvan Co.Kerry yesterday.

At around 5.40pm yesterday evening Gardaí searched a house and found that the house had been used for cultivating cannabis.

They discovered 190 cannabis plants growing in the early stages of development.

The cannabis has an estimated street value of €160,000.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and the incident is under investigation. 

No arrests have been made.
