Maserati celebrating 100 years with Alfieri
The concept will show at Pebble beach
One of the most iconic cars of all time inspired the Alfieri designers: the 1954 Maserati A6 GCS by Pininfarina.
Alfieri Maserati adored speed. He raced cars both as mechanic and from the driver’s seat with great success.
He was a visionary, an extrovert character but a realist at the same time.
It was Tuesday, December 1st, 1914, when Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto Maserati opened their workshop on Via de’ Pepoli 1 in Bologna. The name of the company was “Societa’ Anonima Officine Alfieri Maserati”. The war interrupted their activities but not their aspirations; they returned from the front unscathed and more creative than ever.
Although these pictures are renders the real concept should be showcasing in the metal at Pebble Beach this year.
