A gust of wind took Pope Francis by surprise during his weekly general audience at St. Peter's Square today.

The popular pontiff appeared unperturbed when his hat flew off his head.

Hats off to the Pope, he's a good sport.

Under clear blue skies today, tens of thousands attended Pope Francis general audience.

The audience is the first since the great canonization of the two Pope Saints on Sunday.

The Pope toured through the throngs in his open top jeep. This week his sermon focused on the gift of understanding.
