Gardai find nine dogs which were reported missing from pet farm

Gardaí have found a number of pets who were reported missing from a pet farm in Kerry.

Gardai investigating a burglary at the pet farm on the Cork Road, Killarney, Co Kerry, last Saturday have recovered a number of animals following a planned search at a premises in Cork.

Four Shih Tzu pups, three 'pug' dogs, a Yorkshire/Chihuahua cross, and one Golden Retriever were recovered.

A number of other items were also recovered in the search including tools and electrical equipment.

The dogs and equipment were found at Ballyhandle, Crossbarry, Co Cork yesterday evening.

Gardai say there have been no arrests to date.
