FORMER French First Lady Carla Bruni is fronting a new campaign for jewellers Bulgari.
The mum-of-two is back to what she does best - but this must be a first for any former first lady.
Carla was France's First Lady alongside husband, former President Nicholas Sarkozy, from 2007 to 2012.
And towards the end of her husband's term in office, their daughter Giulia arrived in 2011.
After Giulia's arrival, Carla kept a relatively low profile.
But since her husband's defeat in the general election last year, the 45-year-old has been slowly making her return to her previous life as an in-demand model and famous singer.
Her campaign for Bulgari is her first modelling job since her husband left office.
The sequence of photographs show a confident and beguiling Carla modelling a sequence of watches, cuffs and necklaces and other Bulgari accessories.
Carla became a sought after model at the age of 19.
Famously, she took a break from her career ten years later to concentrate on her music, in which she has enjoyed some success.
With her new campaign, Carla is following the in the footsteps of actresses Rachel Weisz and Julianne Moore who have fronted campaigns for Bulgari before.
In 2007, Carla and Sarkozy admitted they were dating, just months after his wife Cecelia divorced him.
In 2008, the pair married and Carla attracted a generations across the globe as she conducted her First Lady duties with poise and grace.
Apart from her toddler daughter Giulia, she is also mum to son Aurelian (12) from a previous relationship.
She released her third album later that year.
Her fourth album was released earlier this year, with Carla admitting that she had wanted to wait until her husband had left office before releasing her album.
