Seminars to help bereaved workers

Monday February 20 2012

One-in-10 employees will be directly affected by death this year while another one in 25 is caring for a seriously ill relative.

For the bereaved, returning to work can be added stress, but employers, managers and human resources staff can ease their pain.

The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) is holding a number of lunchtime seminars, starting February 21 and running until April, where experts will reveal practical skills on how to care for employees who are bereaved or looking after a very ill relative.

The 'Lunch and Learn' seminars will be in the IHF premises at Morrison Chambers, 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2. The cost is €75 per seminar or €350 for the full series.

For bookings contact Iris Murray at 01-679 3188 or iris.murray@hospice-foundation.ie.
