Head & Shoulders
SCALP-CARE PROTECTION
As well as being unsightly, dry and flaky skin on the scalp can become itchy and uncomfortable but effective treatment can be as simple as changing your shampooing regime.
These new shampoos and conditioners, containing eucalyptus and menthol, mildly cleanse and soothe with a cooling sensation while helping to calm flaking or dry scalp.
Good for the hair, too.
SPORTVIS JOINT RELIEF
If you're looking for relief from tennis elbow pain and ankle strains then maybe you should try this new product, Sportvis, which you buy in the pharmacy and bring to your GP to administer.
Characteristic signs of damage can be controlled in a period of approximately eight days as the injection directly targets the site of injury by hydrating the damaged tissue and realigning the collagen fibres (in tennis elbow) into their correct formation.
For sprained ankles, Sportvis provides structural support by binding the torn ligament fibres together. The ultimate aim is to strengthen scar tissue to reduce risk of recurrence.
Atrial Fibrillation BOOKLET
Atrial fibrillation is a heart condition that can cause irregular and rapid heartbeats, making the heart less efficient at pumping blood around the body. This can lead to palpitations, breathlessness, dizziness, angina and the development of blood clots and increased risk of stroke.
Produced in association with Sanofi-Aventis, the booklet is available free from the Irish Heart Foundation. Call 01-668 5001, email info@irishheart.ie.
