RADIO star Ray D'Arcy has revealed that his new wife once enjoyed a brief fling with Love/Hate actor Jason Barry.
Jason, who plays IRA man Dano in the gritty drama, was a classmate of the DJ's wife Jenny Kelly at Trinity College Dublin.
Ray dropped the bombshell while interviewing the 40-year-old actor on his Today FM radio show yesterday morning.
The Kildare DJ left the Dubliner momentarily lost for words when he teased him over his college kiss with producer Jenny.
There was an awkward pause between the pair when joker Ray informed the gob-smacked actor: "We have something in common ... on a personal level."
"Seemingly Jenny claims you kissed her," he explained. "I have been living with this for a long time."
Ray went on to explain how the actor, who played Leonardo DiCaprio's Irish friend Tommy Ryan in 1997 blockbuster Titanic, is now a hit with his daughter.
"Kate, my six-year-old daughter, has watched Titanic about 15 times and of course Jenny has informed her that 'I went to college with that man'," he said.
"Then it comes out that she fancied you and she kissed you. Kate is completely besotted by it.
"She can't believe this man on her favourite movie kissed her mother and he is real."
The Dublin actor burst out laughing and assured the Today FM host that it was "many, many moons ago".
But the DJ continued to tease the actor by later asking: "Was she a good kisser?" leading the actor to laugh "You're a terrible man."
Ray (48) got hitched to wife Jenny in a humanist ceremony in Meath last August.
Jenny (40) who is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to the couple's second child, son Tom, was left mortified by her hubby's on-air antics.
Jenny jokingly wrote on Twitter: "I am so embarrassed!!!!! Oh dear God make him stop!!!
"Poor Tom got such a fright when I let a roar at the radio! I'm still red."
LA-based actor Jason was in the studio to promote the fourth season of Love/Hate, which kicks off this Sunday.
Jason, who portrays IRA enforcer Dano, said people often expect him to be more menacing in real life.
The actor also revealed how he is in the dark about some of the plot twists in the hotly anticipated fourth series as he only reads the script pages for his own character.
