A pair of adrenaline junkies scalded an 80 metre spike atop of one of the world’s highest building and stood on it unaided as powerful winds threaten to blow them off.

The eastern European daredevils, who have climbed some of the tallest buildings in the world, scaled to the tip of the 80-metre steel spire erected on a 333-metre skyscraper in Shanghai.

Once at the very top, the fearless duo posed for a selfie to take in the dizzying view.

The video was posted to the ‘One The Roofs’ website, which is run by two self-styled urban explorers.

It is not known if  Vitaliy Raskalov (21) and Vadim Makhorov (25) are the pair of climbers featured in the video, but the men from the Ukraine and Russia have in the passed posted videos of themselves scaling various skyscrapers in Shanghai.

Last year, the two men climbed the 660 metre-high ‘Ping An Finance’ skyscraper in China after they sneaked unseen past its security guards.

When completed in 2016, the 115-storey tower will be the second tallest building in the world after Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

Documenting their stunt with a GoPro, the intrepid photographers scaled the partially-built building in February by scrambling up a crane by the side of the skyscraper.
