WARNING! SPOILERS: The downfall of Debbie in Love/Hate
From middle-class girl to gangster's moll to overdosing in a grimy flat.
Over the last three series' of RTE's gangland drama, we've seen Debbie, played by Irish actress Susan Loughnane, hit rockbottom. Her performance as drug-addicted prostitute won her the Best Actress IFTA and now we chart the demise of Debbie from the beginning to the end.
In season two, we're introduced to Debbie, the middle class flame-haired bombshell on the arm of then gang boss John Boy.
We see her addiction to heroin develop as she falls for Tommy. After John Boy kicks her out and he ultimately dies, she has resorted to prostitution to feed her addiction.
By season three, Debbie has taken up residence at a city centre brothel.
She eventually returns home to her mother (very, very briefly) where she steals her wallet and iPhone.
She returns in season four as a drug mule for Nidge and co, but it's not to last for long. In the end, Debbie leaves our screens after overdosing in a dingy city centre flat, where she's left to decompose for days.
