Footage has emerged of Donald Trump making an inappropriate remark to Spice Girl Emma Bunton within earshot of his then girlfriend Melania.

The clip, which was filmed in 2000, sees Bunton and fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham interviewing people on the red carpet at a VH1 Fashion Rocks party.

As Trump approaches, Victoria comments, "Donald Trump looks like a banker this evening.  Not at all stylish, but god he's rich so we'll interview him anyway."

As they stop him to talk, the then property developer says "very nice" as he moves to look at Emma Bunton's back.

Bunton turns away and covers the neckline of her low cut dress with her hand, before turning back and exclaiming, "Donald!"

Melania, who was then dating Trump, is walking behind him when the incident happens.

Five years later Trump made his infamous sexist remark about being able to grab women "by the p***y" when you are a star, just one of a litany of such comments about women.

When speaking about Princess Diana in the wake of her death, Trump told shock jock Howard Stern that he could have had sex with the princess.

Stern said, "You could have gotten her, right? You could have nailed her?" to which Trump replied, "I think I could have."
