Video: Anchorman's Ron Burgundy is a Love/Hate fan

It may come as a surprise, but the star of upcoming movie 'Anchorman 2' is a fan of our very own 'Love/Hate'.

The jazz flute enthusiast played by Hollywood actor Will Ferrell said people all over Ireland will be watching this season's finale on Sunday.

"People do horrible things on that show. Horrible. But somehow, I don't care. We love them and hate them at the same time," he said.

"It's the accent. Never have criminals sounded so rustic and charming. It's the audio equivalent of a warm cup of tea on a rainy day."

This is the second time Ron has shown his love for Ireland after former RTÉ newsreader Anne Doyle appeared at the start of his new film's trailer.

'Anchorman 2' will be released in Ireland on December 20.
