X FACTOR contestant James Arthur has become embroiled in a Twtter feud with controversial Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle.
The feud started after Boyle tweeted a comment about Arthur during Saturday night’s show, when he said he looked like “across between a tramp and a duckling”.
Arthur responded by saying: “Poor old man making yet more s**t jokes about X Factor because he knows that's the only way he can get attention any more #prat.”
However the quick witted comedian said: “'I think if I wanted attention I'd sing covers on a talent show, inked up like a schooldesk in a remedial class.”
The two continued to trade insults, with Arthur saying: “Your about as funny as aids.. Your a sad man and I can't wait to see you coz it's about time someone gave you a reality check.”
Boyle continued to insult Arthur, when he tweeted him: “Comedians make jokes about t*ts singing karaoke songs on talent shows you snaggletoothed grammar holocaust. Deal with it.”
The comic regularly tweets during the talent show, he was the target of abuse from Christopher Maloney fans last week after he said: “Chris Maloney's like the uncle who gets questioned when a child goes missing.”
Earlier this year the comic won over €60,000 in libel damages after the Daily Mirror labeled him a ‘racist comic’.
