X FACTOR runner up Jahmene Douglas has become the latest contestant to sign a record deal.
He follows band Union J and Ella Henderson in confirming he has signed a deal with Sony records.
He tweeted his reaction to the news this morning saying: “Eeek .. My excitement always takes time to kick in :-p but I think it's slowly slipping in just what's in store for me :-) woooo xx."
The news means that Liverpool singer Christopher Maloney is the only one of the last four who has not landed a record deal.
Maloney claimed on Xtra Factor after his elimination that he had already been in talks with several record companies - in the 20 minutes between his elimination and appearing on the show.
