TV3 sets new drama on ghost estate

A NEW drama set on a ghost estate will hit TV screens early in the new year.

Set in an unfinished housing estate outside Spiddal, Co Galway, 'Deception' is TV3's first major home-grown drama and cost more than €1m to produce. The six-part drama features well-known actors including Leigh Arnold and Nora-Jane Noone.

Ms Arnold plays the role of post-Celtic Tiger home-owner Cathriona French, whose house is under threat of repossession.

It's the first TV role for the former 'Clinic' actor since the birth of her first child – a boy named Hunter James – with fiance Steve Davies.

The first episode will be broadcast on TV3 at 10pm on Monday, January 7.
