The Irish acting star is fast becoming Hollywood royalty with a starring role in the upcoming fourth instalment of Michael Bay's Transformers movie.

Jack (23), currently dating model Madeline Mulqueen, was clearly impressed with her present on the traditional lovers’ day.

He tweeted a picture of his gift – a biography of legendary hell-raising actor Richard Harris.

“Amazing Valentine's present from the best girlfriend in world,” Jack, from Blessington, tweeted |to his other half. Madeline (22) returned the favour and retweeted the post.

Jack is clearly a fan of Richard , the legendary Limerick screen icon who died in October 2002 following an acting career that spanned four decades.

He was best known for his performances in This Sporting Life as well as his colourful off-screen antics with friend and fellow actor Peter O'Toole.

Jack and his girlfriend Madeline, who shot to fame in the Rubberbandits' Horse Outside video, first stepped out together in public at last year's IFTA Awards after flirting over Twitter. They have been inseparable ever since.

The duo even travelled to the US together last summer, where Jack was filming with Mark Wahlberg.

“We had a house in LA,” Madeline told the Herald on their return. “It was good that we were together and experiencing it together.”
