This weekend is the season finale of the hugely popular RTE series.
Bold boy Fran in velvet? Who would have thought it. . . and with actor Peter Coonan's pearly whites all restored to their former, smiling glory.
The hit show's posh, wayward dentist Andrew, played by Hollywood-based Irish actor Peter O'Meara, and Elmo actor Laurence Kinlan joined the line-up.
There wasn't a single tracksuit or hoodie in sight when the three dived into the smart/casual clothes rail at Arnotts in Henry Street.
It was all for Weekend magazine's latest fashion shoot, published tomorrow with the Irish Independent.
This weekend is also the season finale of the hugely popular RTE series, with a nail-biting climax on Sunday night.
Kinlan is currently appearing in 'The Threepenny Opera' at Dublin's Gate theatre, while Peter O'Meara is Brian Lenihan Senior in 'Citizen Charlie', the RTE drama being filmed about Charlie Haughey.
As for heading for Hollywood, like O'Meara, Coonan said: "I think you'd be lying if you said you didn't have goals to get work in America. It's a difficult work choice, but it's something I would definitely consider."
* The actors were interviewed for independent.ie and the video will go online tomorrow.
