Super Garden

By Paul Whitington

Saturday July 12 2008

At the start of this entertaining series, five amateur garden designers were given five weeks to create and build a winning garden with a budget of €10,000. Over the weeks they were advised by Super Garden mentor Dermot O'Neill, but in this final episode he takes a back seat as the judges convene to decide which amateur designer's world is about to be changed forever by winning the Super Garden title. The three judges are Chelsea Gold Medal winner Mary Reynolds, top professional garden designer Tycho Mays, and Gary Graham, project manager of Bloom.

As the judges and contestants convene once more at the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin, the experts will deliberate on each garden before deciding on a winner. Given the high standard the contestants have shown, the decision promises to be a hard one.
