Singlehanded 2

Sergeant Jack Driscoll debuted last spring in the acclaimed drama Single-Handed, as a lone Garda adrift in the wilds of Connemara. And he's back in this two-part story about a missing child. Jack (Owen McDonnell) is put in charge of the search for a toddler seemingly snatched from his home by his estranged father. But his attempts to trace father and son are not helped by strained relations between the distraught mother (Charlene McKenna) and her resentful in-laws.

Jack's life is further complicated when a tribunal investigating allegations of Garda corruption calls his father Gerry to account. Part two screens on January 2.
