VIEWERS rarely see him outside of jeans and a leather jacket.
But 'Love/Hate' actor Tom Vaughan Lawlor – famous for playing Nidge – was pictured suited and booted on the set of the RTE series this week with a copy of the Irish Independent while taking a break in between scenes.
The IFTA winning star resumed filming with the cast and crew of Stuart Carolan's hit drama last month in Dublin.
Production on the fourth season of the series is to continue until late April and sees the return of Peter Coonan, Charlie Murphy and Killian Scott.
Yesterday, audiences got confirmation that Scott's character, Tommy, wakes from his coma.
Scott was seen with co-star Coonan (Fran) as they filmed a raid scene. Both actors wore dark clothing and covered their faces with balaclavas.
So far, the 'Love/Hate' crew have been spotted shooting scenes in an estate in Walkinstown, as well as at a closed down garda station in Whitehall.
The station was one of the first across the state to be closed due to a reduction in the force's budget and officially ceased all operations on April 29, 2012.
It is enjoying a new lease of life as Vaughan Lawlor and his colleagues take over its empty rooms in the coming days.
