LATE late show presenter Ryan Tubridy has found his very own 'mini me' - in the form of a 7-year-old Dublin boy.
7-year-old Alex Gorey from Lucan in Dublin has decided to dress up as the RTE presenter for Halloween.
His mother Lorna sent pictures into the Tubridy show on 2fm this morning - much to the delight of Ryan and the team.
Lorna told Independent.ie: "They were actually his Christmas clothes from last year, and we were joking at the time that he looked like Ryan Tubridy from the Toy Show in them.
"Then when Halloween rolled around this year he said he wanted to go dressed up as Ryan Tubridy.
"I printed him the mask and made the microphone and then we gelled up his hair, the whole lot."
Tubridy might want to watch out, as young Alex has aspirations to be on TV.
"He'd love to do TV, he wants to be on Fair City", said his proud mother.
"He does drama in school and he's a great singer as well".
Tubridy was flattered by the schoolboy's costume, saying: “There was great excitement in 2fm this morning when we saw the pics of Alex - at last, my very own ‘mini-me’.
"And while he may scare a few neighbours this Halloween dressed like me, at least with Alex in the wings, the future of the Toy Show is safe.”
Ryan Tubridy can be heard on 2FM Monday to Friday at 9am.
