Piers Morgan quits America's Got Talent
PIERS Morgan has quit his role on America's Got Talent to concentrate on his US chat show.
He is giving up his position as a judge on the show which made him a star across the Atlantic after six years.
Last year he stepped down from Britain's Got Talent because of his commitments in the US.
He made his announcement with a message on Twitter, which said: ''I'm leaving America's Got Talent after 6 wonderful years.
''Turned out that juggling's harder than it looks, so I'm going to focus on CNN.''
Morgan, who also fronts his Life Stories chat series for ITV, signed with CNN last year to take over from the respected TV veteran Larry King.
One wag later sent a message which was re-tweeted by the presenter which said: ''Breaking: Piers Morgan leaves America's Got Talent after finally accepting he has no talent and is not even American.''
