One Direction's Niall Horan endorses Mullingar’s Zoe Bohorquez for Eurovision

ONE Direction’s Niall Horan has endorsed singer Zoe Bohorquez to represent Ireland at this year’s Eurovision in Sweden.
Niall tweeted to his 10m followers: “Ireland ! A friend of mine @ZoboOfficial from mgar is in the running to represent Ireland at the Eurovision!”
He then tweeted: “Please check that vid out !! And vote for on the 22nd of feb on the late late show”
Fellow Mullingar singer Bressie also tweeted his support saying: “My Eurovision support this year goes to @zoboofficial . A Mullingar lass . Hope all goes to plan”
"I'm very grateful and humbled and It's an honor to have the support of Bressie and Niall", Zoe told Independent.ie.
"I'm especially thankful for the support of my hometown Mullingar" she continued
Zoe has also received messages of support from Michelle Heaton and Blue’s Duncan James.
Michelle Heaton tweeted: “Vote for Zoe Alexis to represent Ireland in this years Eurovision with an amazing song FIRE. Rte one feb 22nd at 9pm”
Meanwhile Duncan James of Blue, who represented the UK in 2011, tweeted: “Check out my friend the sexy Zoe alexis Ireland's entry for the 2013 Eurovision :)”
Zoe is competing in Eurosong 2013 with song ‘Fire’ penned by Niall Mooney, who has previously written the Irish Eurovision entries in 2009 and 2010.
Sinead Mulvey failed to qualify for the final in Moscow in 2009 with ‘Et Cetera’ while 1993 winner Niamh Kavanagh made it to the final in Oslo the following year.
Zoe is currently the second favourite to go to Malmo in May, behind Ryan Dolan.
The Late Late Show Eurosong special takes place on Friday, February 22nd.
