HE’S well used to handling a gun – however Nidge looks set to show off his other deadly skills as he fends off assassins with a samurai sword.
This week’s episode of the smash hit crime drama will see the RIRA target the crime kingpin.
The gangster, played by Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, arms himself with a samurai sword to fend off his would-be killers.
The RIRA’s two enforcers, played by ‘cat killer’ actor Barry Keoghan and Caoilfhionn Dunne, break into Nidge’s suburban home to take him out.
However hard man Nidge isn’t going down without a fight, and grabs the blade to mount his defence.
Last week's episode of Love/Hate had an average audience of 936,900 and a 52% share.
The third episode of series 3 last year had an average audience of 683,800 viewers and a 37% share - an increase year on year of 253,100 viewers and 15% share increase.
The fourth episode of the new series of Love/Hate is broadcast this Sunday at 9.30pm on RTE One.
