FORMER Westlife star Nicky Byrne and wife Georgina enjoyed a family day out as they celebrated baby daughter Gia’s Christening.
The singer turned radio and TV presenter were joined by close family and friends including proud grandfather Bertie.
The ex-Taoiseach along with best-selling author Cecelia and her husband David, were among those who arrived for the celebration where four-month-old Gia took centre stage.
It was a proud day for parents Nicky and Georgina, who welcomed their daughter into the world last October, a sister for twins Rocco and Jay (6).
The Christening was a quiet affair with just family attending the ceremony at Saint Sylvester Roman Catholic Church in Malahide. After the ceremony, the small party enjoyed a “private family lunch” to mark the occasion.
Former Fianna Fail leader Bertie went for the casual look and left his suit at home and turned out in a navy padded jacked with brown shoulder pads, which he wore over a check shirt.
The ex-politician was cheered up as he left the church by his grandson Sonny, who was all smiles in the arms of his dad, Cecelia's husband David Keoghan.
Nicky and Georgina went all out in the style stakes and the new 2fm presenter looked every inch the pop star in his creative attire.
The 35-year-old wore a stylish blue check shirt and navy tie combo under a trendy wine jacket.
Despite giving birth only fourth months ago, fitness instructor Georgina showed off her impressive figure in a peach coloured knee-length dress.
