LOVE/HATE actor Killian Scott has said his love life on-screen is “far busier” than how he rates with the ladies in reality.
The 28-year-old plays Tommy on the gangland drama and admitted that he does not get much female attention when not in character.
Viewers have seen Scott’s character become romantically involved with Siobhan (Charlie Murphy) Debbie (Susan Loughnane) and Georgina (Eve Macklin) on the RTE show.
“I'm far busier in the show than I am in real life. I don't particularly get much female attention,” Scott told Ray D’Arcy during an interview with Today FM this morning.
“But to be honest, in general I find that people might perhaps be attracted to the character.
“But trust me, when they meet me in real life, they are quite generally disappointed. It's very disconcerting for them.”
Scott will return with the cast of the IFTA winning series for the fourth instalment on October 6.
The Dubliner said he found it very difficult filming scenes where Tommy is in a coma, after being beaten up by king pin Nidge (Tom Vaughan Lawlor).
“It's very challenging. The hardest day I had on set was the day when we shot all my stuff in a coma.
“I had to have all these tubes in my throat and up to my arms, and I had to lie still for the whole day. It was actually surprisingly difficult.”
