Morph was an early success for animation studio Aardman when he appeared on the BBC art show Take Hart, presented by the late Tony Hart. He later landed his own spin-off show and continued to appear with Hart on later series such as Hartbeat.

Morph also appeared in short films for children's series SMart, and had a brief cameo in drama series Ashes To Ashes.

The animated duo are to make a comeback in Ricky's Radical Reinventions, which will be screened on CBBC on Monday. It features Aardman animator Ricky Martin, who makes everyday objects come to life with his inventions.

CBBC controller Damian Kavanagh said: "It's exciting to be able to introduce Morph and Chas to our audience for the very first time - and parents will no doubt enjoy seeing them return to our screens too."
