Monty Python gives Lorraine a big laugh

Lorraine Keane, pictured above with zookeeper Brendan Walsh, yesterday managed to maintain a smile when she met Monty the python.
Maybe it was the fact that Brendan was by her side or maybe she had bonded with 12ft-long Monty, but the TV presenter kept her cool during a trip to Dublin Zoo.
Breaking the number one rule in showbusiness to never work with children or animals, Ms Keane was helping out a good cause -- keeping up awareness of meningitis with the launch of a special pamphlet.
The 'Meningitis For All' handbook is designed for primary and secondary school employees, spelling out information about the disease and also including suggestions as to what to do if they are faced with a case.
The Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO) welcomed the new handbook and called for staff to download it from www.meningitis-trust.ie.
"Meningitis is a frightening disease and unfortunately the children in our care are at an age when they are particularly at risk," INTO president Maire Ni Chuinneagain said.
The handbook will equip teachers with the knowledge they need to support an affected pupil.
