LOVE/HATE star Robert Sheehan has landed the lead role in an episode of BBC One’s crime drama Accused.

Accused is written by the critically acclaimed Jimmy McGovern of Cracker fame and Mr Sheehan will appear in the second episode which is co-written by Danny Brocklehurst.



He plays a teenager called Stephen who has his doubts about a nurse assigned to look after his mother.



He becomes paranoid about the welfare of his younger brother who is at loggerheads with is father – but are things even more complicated than that?



Other actors appearing in the series include Anne-Marie Duff.
