IRISH crime drama 'Love/Hate' could be remade for audiences in America thanks to a deal done with US agents.
The news was revealed by series producer James Flynn of Octagon Films, who said that the fact that nearly a million viewers watched the finale of the third series had "turned heads" with American broadcasters.
"Ratings of a million would be considered good on cable TV in the US. Even 'Game of Thrones' only gets about 3.5 million," said Mr Flynn.
The Irish producer said that a deal with US agents had just been agreed, which could see 'Love/Hate' being remade in America. "What's happened is that a US sales agent has optioned it and we are now pitching it to the US broadcasters, he said.
